It is important to protect flowers because flowers produce fruits which contains seeds. The seeds will germinate giving rise to a plant of the same kind. This way, the variety of that particular tree will not get extinct. The fruits are food for variety of animals such as birds, humans etc.
The plants are important because they take in carbon dioxide from air and give out oxygen, which is important for the living organisms.
The trees/plants are also the habitat for a variety of animals like monkeys, squirrrels etc.
The herbivores will extinct because there is no food for them. If they extinct, the other consumers who eat these herbivores and plants will get extinct. This will lead to a major problem in the food chain and most of the species will get extinct. Global warming can also increase when there is less number of trees/plants.
