World is full of fair-weather friends.

Fair-weather friends are selfish.

As long as you are shiny and prosperous he will be your friend and the moment you are in trouble he forsakes you.

He dosen't loves you but your riches and the gifts and presents you give him.

From the very moment you cease showering gifts and favours on him he falls out with you.

Not prepared to make the least sacrifice for you.

A fair- weather friend makes your life a hell and disturbs your peace of mind always.

A fair-weather friend has an oily tongue and very polite.

He is a past master in the art of flattery.

He knows how to break his own axe.

Make money by fair means/foul is the be-all and-end all of life.

We all have read the story of two friends and a bear. Two friends were passing through a deep forest where suddenly a bear came out of a cave.

It began to grumble and both was fearful.

Fair- weather friend ran hardfast and climbed up a tall tree.

Fair weather friends story

Once upon a time in a village two friends were living together. Ram was very hard working and known for honesty. Shyam always make fool of others to make money.

One day Shyam borrowed some money from a moneylender with promise to return within a month and lavishly spend on gambling. Moneylender asked to return the borrowed money but without thinking he said he borrowed for his best friend Ram and he is supposed to give you back.

Shyam took a bunch of cash from his friend Ram by telling a lie and went to other city. Now, Ram was shocked when moneylender asked Ram to return the borrowed money from him. Moneylender recovered his amount by selling his property and beat him .

Ram went to his friend Shyam for help but he denied and through him out of his house. Ram lived in slums and grow his business and become a rich man of that city. Shyam lost his all property again in gambling. He went to his old friend Shyam and apologised to him. Ram was now well aware of his selfish nature so he didn’t accept their apology and reminded him about how he had rejected him, while he was the one who always helped him and remained fair throughout their friendship. If he had helped him then, he wouldn’t have to suffer and struggle for so long, but he was happy to have discovered his true nature that way and said, “A friend in need is a friend indeed; and the worst truth is that you are not worthy to be called friend!” And with this he closed the door.

Shyam felt guilty but it was too late for him now.
