Sujata was born with a disability because research could not treat a foetus. She has a disability, a lay person calls that Cerebral Paralysis a spastic, medically. The brain and the body are loosely connected. But, while her body was not flawless, her mind worked fine. She could not go and slurred normally. Her integration was the responsibility of her teachers and classmates.

Her voice never focused on herself, nor was her slow pace. Luckily, without much thought, she could walk and ascend. Doctors did, however, support it. She learned to trust my abilities in school and did not take her disability into account. Her maternal grandmother played a major part in this. She let Sujatha do her own things.. That exposure allowed Sujatha to address the society that discriminated against those who were threatened.

She grew up in this world. She had always had a sounding board with her school friend Sonia. Sonia was always ready to take Sujatha to her limits if she wondered. Sujatha wanted to teach people with disabilities. The past and experience could have been her guide and she had learnt the hard way. She found early that she was really blessed. After a special education class, she was passionate about teaching. She studied not only for mentally challenged and multi-disability but also graduated in audiology and was able to teach Hearing Disabled. She moved to Delhi in the late 1990s. Her objective was to change society's perceptions of disabled women. She would prove to be a role model if she worked independently. Delhi has meanwhile been the hub of legislation. She joined the campaign for disabilities and quickly became an activist. There was a definition on the disability rule. She was one of the group's core components. It was a real dream .
