I was surprised that two little kids were chosen as green warriors by the municipal council.
Manik and Hariyali are a brother-sister duo who have done a remarkable job in protecting our environment.
They were called upon stage to share their experiences.
They thanked their parents and teachers for supporting their unique idea of setting up a vermicomposting farm on the rooftop of their house.
They made plastic bottles which served as pots for fruits and vegetables which turned out be a green farm in short span of time.
Manik and Hariyali also taught their neighbours and their entire locality started terrace farming on the roots of their houses.
