Hemant was woken up by a strange noise in the attic. He had no idea as to who was present there in the attic. The attic has been closed since last year. No one went there after the death of the grandfather. The attic was one of the favorite places of the grandfather. Hemant went there to find what the noise was. He found that a pigeon had come inside the attic from the ventilator. It had got hurt and was unable to fly. Hemant picked it up and took it to with him. He nursed it and kept it until it was able to fly again. One day when it became all well, it flew away back in the open air.

Hemant was woken up by a strange noise in the attic. He did not recongise from where the sound was coming then he realized the noise was of people rushing out. He did not understand then what was the reason until he realized the shake of the floor. It was an earthquake.

He also moved quickly when he realized that he had to go out as well. But his sick mother was sleeping beside him and it was hard for him to move her alone.
