Brutus explains to the crowd that Antony had no part in the conspiracy but that he will now be part of the new commonwealth. The plebeians cheer Brutus's apparent kindness, declaring that Brutus should be Caesar. He quiets them and asks them to listen to Antony, who has obtained permission to give a funeral oration.

Firstly brutus tries to justify himself for his deed a d tries to pull people on his side by some flattering words
Later he rhetorically says
Not that he loved cesar less but he loved rome more
He then asks if people liked live as cesar's slave or as free countrymen
He says he weeps for cesar for he was unfortunate
He honored him for his valiance and valour but since he was turning ambitious he killed him
