hi mate............

here's ur answer.............!

Nor marble nor the gilded monuments is the 55th sonnet of William Shakespeare.

This poem tells that how powerful is the time. No one can destroy the time but time can destroy everything.
The kings who built various monuments and statues to show their glory , pride and grandeur , all these things were destroyed by time .

But the sonnet written by Shakespeare for his friend would remain untouched. No one can destroy it and it will pass on generation to generation.

hope it helps ⭐

The sonnet Not marble nor the guilded monuments is written by William Shakespeare.
He has written this sonnet in tribute to his loving friend. In whole of the course the sonnet he describes that all the gold plated monuments and statues built by great people would destroy with the passage of time but the sonnet written by him cannot be destroyed forever.
The idea suggested in whole of the sonnet is that the time is the most powerful.
