The Room On The Roof is the “first novel” written by “Ruskin bond”. It is a story of a “16 year” old boy. He was living with an English guardian after his parents passed away. Due to the strict rules by the Guardian, he was quite “unhappy” with him.

To get free, he started to visit the nearby market and made lots of friends there. He also faced lots of challenges in his life. The writer explained the feelings of the boy so that while studying you can also feel the same.
