Press F2 to edit the cell, use the arrowkeys to position the cursor, and then press Shift+Arrow key to select the contents. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, do one of the following: To move the selection, click Cut . Keyboard shortcut You can also press Ctrl+X.

In order to move certain data from one place to another, select the data to be copied or cut it by pressing CTRL + C or CTRL + X respectively then move to the place you have to copy it then past CTRL + V.
If you are using excel then the keys will work for it as well.
