Select all of the objects you wish to clip / crop and use Object > Group from menu to group them together. Draw a figure over the top of the table to clip or  crop it. Any single form, such as a rectangle, a circle, or even a star, can be used.

There are primarily two methods for selecting several things: clicking the very first object, then holding Shift while clicking each successive object once; or using the mouse button and dragging out a rectangle selection box that encloses all the objects.
