This is an interesting step. Now multiply last digit first value and first digit of second value and vice-versa. Then we add outcomes. But we need the last number that is 8 here.

Answer:

Actually multiples of five is easy.

Let me say you a trick.

Multiples of five are 'half the given number X10'

For example,

9 \times 5 = ( \frac{9}{2} ) \times 10 \: \: \: \: \: (half \: of \: the \: givn \: number \times 10) \\ = 4.5 \times 10 \\ = 45

Similarly,

7804 \times 5 = ( \frac{7804}{2} ) \times 10 \\ = 3902 \times 10 \\ = 39020

I think this is useful.
