non cooperation movement was led by Gandhiji

in his way famous book Hind Swaraj 1909

Mahatma Gandhi declared that British rule was established in India with the cooperation of Indians and had survived only because of the corporation of Indians
the non cooperation movement impacts

begin with the surrender of titles boycott of civil services Army police court and legislative councils

school government institutions and offices schools left government control schools and colleges headmasters and teachers resigned and lawyers gave up their legal practices

boycott of foreign products liquor shops dedicated and foreign cloth burnt in huge bonfires

merchants and traders refuse to trade in foreign good or finance foreign trade people begin discarding imported cloth and started wearing the khadi that is made by Indian men

The council elections were boycotted in most of the provinces except Madras at present Chennai
