1) Yes, coal engines pollute the environment more than electric engines
1. Coal engines while working produce a lot of smoke and fumes which pollute the air around and increase air pollution a lot.
Electric engines on the other hand do not release any smoke making them more environmentally friendly to use.
2. Coal engines get heated up very quickly and thus increase the temperature too.
Whereas electric engines transfer heat energy to kinetic energy for better functioning
3. Coal, a natural resource is getting exploited and is non-renewable so the resources are vanishing at a rate much faster than they can be replenished.
Electrical energy on the other hand can be gained from renewable sources like sunlight.
