The answer has been given below.

Explanation:

English language is one of the most important and essential part of the world, especially with the new generation and the advancement in education sectors. Though it may not have been an important part in the Indian educational system, it can be safely assumed that with the change in time, so is the change in the necessities.

While the study of English may be a bit of a burden especially to non- English speakers, it is still a much needed educational value for the future use. Nowadays, communication in the corporate world, be it domestically or internationally, are mostly done in English. So, if the children are made to learn English during their schooling days, they will find it more easier to adapt and be at par with their peers later on.

Thus comes the issue of whether children should be forced to study English. I am not saying they should be forced but at the same time, they should be made aware of the advantages of learning and knowing English. Then, by their own free will, they will come to accept the need to learn English and will willingly learn it. But if they are being forcefully made to learn English, then the end result may be the contrary of what had been initially hoped for.

Learning English will take a long time for the children to be adapted to but it will also take them a long way in their future lives. Though the beginning may be hard and even struggling, the end result will be only self appreciation and admiration. So, for children to be taught to learn English, force should never be used. Instead, they should first be made aware of it, why they need to learn and then the decision will be made by them.
