No, the education qualifications should not be mandatory and it also not mandatory because the politician should have the the proper knowledge about how to run administration in Indian constitution is written that there it not necessary that a person is not educated so he can't fight for elections. People should elect the person to see how good administrator he is not by seeing his education. Yes practically we can say that it is necessary for a person to be a knowledgeable person but there is no heavy need of proper education.
