Yes, From my Point of View, Social media is all about freedom of expression.
Social media is a vastly recognised platform which gives us the liberty and privilege to express our opinions. for example- A number of people we meet on social medias like twitter might be unknown to us but what we see is their thoughts and opinions. In such a case, we only infer about a person from their thoughts and perception and contemporary world requires a platform to express what they want to say without any hesitation because even if government has made laws regarding freedom of speech, and expression, people are still afraid to completely admit anything fearing severe punishments. Whereas in social media, We can simply let people know what we think about anything without revealing our identity completely. Also, freedom of expression should be encouraged because then, introvert people would be introduced to the world around them and be given more freedom and respect. On the dark side, Giving full- fledged freedom might lead to trolls on social media and resulting in the person's self -esteem to be lowered and he or she would become more cautious about what or what not to post.
