There is no problem if a lady cooks on those days. But if the lady is very tired and irritable, you shouldn't force her to cook. Usually on those days women/girls feel very tired and bloated, So it is up to the lady if she wants to cook or not.

If a woman doesn't cook on those days, she is considered as lazy. If a woman cooks on those days, it is considered unhygienic in many rural areas. Women shouldn't care about such stereotypes and do whatever they want.
