Should hindi be the national language of india

beulahE7: Only 40% of our population speak Hindi as their mother tongue.

Since it’s not even half(50%) of the population, it’s not ideal to take Hindi as the National language.

There are 22 scheduled languages recognised by the Constitution, it will be unfair to these non-Hindi speaking population.

Hindi is our official language.

Yes ,becoz the people of India are not educated and don't know any extra lang.except Hindi and regional lang.So,when hindi will be the national language it will be easy for people to communicate and express their feelings.
