Classifying human beings as animals doesn’t really work. Animals are all different from each other, but human beings are different from all animals. Classifications are always arbitrary anyway, but it makes no sense to hold that human beings have anything meaningful in common with all other animals. This classification doesn’t reflect the way anyone actually thinks or feels, but is an arbitrary scientific classification.
Of course this classification system has been laid down as fact. But it is a made up fact.
