First of all, Relax. :)

You gave an exam. And you couldn't clear it. That's it. That's just it. May be you didn't prepare well. Or may be you did but circumstances didn't allow you to perform well.

What so ever it was, we now need to decide- what next? BUT, before deciding anything please take some time and figure out if you 'really' wish to become a doctor?

Please be honest to yourself at this point. Do Not think what your parents would feel, what would that aunt say, how good would your cousins be doing. Do Not!Because at the end these things don't matter at all. I know that we'll. Once you're clear with the answer to this question, we can move ahead.

If the answer is a NO, straight forward talk to your parents. I'm sure there would be something you're interested in. It's already May and most of the colleges (for other courses) are done with the admission processes. Be quick in deciding what alternate stream you would go for.

Now, if the answer is YES, if you really wish to become a doctor, then take a drop. Prepare again. And appear for NEET 2018. It would be no big deal. Trust me.

I've been in KOTA for 2 years preparing for NEET and I've seen people taking 3-4 consecutive drops to clear this exam. Do not feel ashamed. Because you're doing the right thing. You're doing the wise thing.

Also, there are chances for a re-NEET this year due to a lot of controversies. That means you might get one more chance.

So it would be the best thing to start preparing right away.

Get up tomorrow. Have good breakfast. Tell your family that you really love them. Do something that makes you happy. Watch movies, listen good music, talk to some old friend.. how about getting a hair cut or something? anything that makes you happy.. :)

You should be normal within a couple days. And then without wasting a single day more, start preparing again. Yes. It's gonna help you if there's a re-NEET as you would start preparing before anyone even knows about the retest. And if retest doesn't occur then your study won't be wasted. It will help you with this one year you're dropping.

Choose wisely. And make sure whatever you're doing, makes you happy. Everything else is secondary.

Gof bless you. Take care mate. :)
