not writing this in a specific format; just giving the points and elaborating them a bit further.
1. nuclear weapons developed in July 16, 1945, after three weeks, nuclear power used as a "weapon" in Hiroshima , killed an estimated of 130,000 people.
2. were originally invented for the use of power production i.e. electricity.
3. after the first use, there have been numerous cases regarding the loss of life and habitat because of tests and usage as weapons in war.
4. there has always been speculation about how the world would have to suffer if these weapons went into the wrong hands.
5. there have been put several laws and treaties and what not to stop the development of these weapons.
6. there has been an increasing worry about the nuclear weapons in the middle east because of rising terrorism in those places.
7. there is not only the immediate effect of loss on life and habitat in the world but also affects the place/ region for hundreds of years due to the radiation emitted from the uranium(if i'm not wrong) ; and which's effects are irreversible.
8. the land becomes unusable for any type of production activity, and also industrial uses such as construction of buildings since the soil does not have any support for binding it together.
