While group tuition is currently the trend for tutoring in India, many students still struggle with academics despite going to tuition every day. The problem with group tuition is that there are too many students for the tutor to explain every topic to each student. So the tutor in general has just enough time to help the students with tasks they were given from school and just like that its time over. Students also tend to get easily distracted by or with other students being another reason why group tuition is not as effective.

Yes, you should definitely prefer institutes or tution classes, specially for mathematics and science.
