Pocket money should be given to children as it gives them the experience of saving money. It also teaches how to use money efficiently as if they would like something they would have to think about whether or not they should spend their money. However if a child is using their money inappropriately they should be stripped of this luxury. This is because at the end of the day it is their caregivers money, not the theirs.
Although for the less fortunate that are unable to supply their child with money, the child should understand the struggle. Instead of giving the child the money, they should save it so that they can provide for themselves and family.
