Should Students Take Part or Not ?

Now in my opinion a big 'No',
Let me explain,

India is a great democratic country. ln democracy political consciousness should be universal. An adult citizen participates in the country's election. lf he is not aware of the political crosscurrents he cannot vote properly. students are citizens of the future. Student life is an apprenticeship for adult life. So students will be familiar with the national as well as International political scenario.

But the primary objective for a student is to acquire knowledge and build his character so as to grow up as a mature person. lf a student becomes actively involved in politics he is liable to ignore his studies and related activities. This will surely hamper his mental growth. A politician always needs to be well read and highly intelligent, so even if a student wishes to join active politics in future he must prepare himself first.

students unions and clubs should participate in various social and cultural activities. They may have their own wall magazine and organised socio-cultural gatherings. A campus newspaper as in western countries, may be encouraged in which students male voice their opinion about various socio-economic political issues. Political debates discussions and writings all right but active politics may not be good for students. ln fact political activities will spoil a student, as political partys is tend to take advantage of immature students for their own ends.

So a student should not participate in politics.

That's it
Hope it helped (^_^)/
