It is advisable to go through the N.C.E.R.T books thoroughly because the papers will be set according to the N.C.E.R.T portion only. But it is speculated that the paper this year might be a little tough so you can refer ti guides as well. I too am preparing for boards. Best of luck. Hope you were helped. Cheers mate :^)

You should not refer to new refresher before one month before the examination because you won't be able to complete it and if you are able to complete it, chances are that you will forget what you have studied the whole year. My advice is to study previous year questions first before solving sample papers. This will give you an idea about what topics are most important in exam and which questions get repeated again and again in the examination. This will make your studying more organised then to start and summarizing the whole chapter. Study what's in your syllabus, nothing less and nothing more.
Studying ncert is most welcomed.
