•No, we should not use plastic containers on gas stove as plastic is a bad conductor of heat it will start melting if you will put it on gas stove,it will spoil your food as it will release certain chemicals in food which are very harmful for health.Also whenever you store food in plastic containers make sure that it's(food) not very warm and the plastic used to make the container is food grade plastic which does not release any chemicals. Using plastic containers on gas stove may lead to cancer.
