One newton is the force which produces an acceleration of 1 m/s^2 when acted on a body of mass 1 kg.

It is related with its CGS unit (i.e. dyne) as follows:
1 N = 1 kg * 1 m/s^2
1 N = 1000 g * 100 cm/s^2
1 N = 1,00,000 g.cm/s^2
1 N = 10^5 g.cm/s^2
1 N = 10^5 dyne

1newton is SI unit.
And dyne is CGS unit.
so for converting units;
we use,
(N1×U1=N2×U2)
N1=1
U1=dimension of Newton(which is unit of force)
N2=?
U2=dimension of dyne
1×[Mn^1 Ln^1 Sn^2]=N2×[Md^1 Ld^1 Sd^2]
N2=(Mn/Md)^1×(Ln/Ld)^1×(Sn/Sd)^2
= (Kg/gm)^1×(m/cm)^1×(s/s)^2=10^3×10^2×1
N1=10^5
1Newton=10^5Dyne
