Dear Diary

They said that 18 th year is a very important stage in the life of a person. Well it was my 18 th birthday today. So my family decided to celebrate it with great pomp and show. All the preparations started a week ago. The whole dinning room was decorated with flowers, balloons, lamps etc. All the guests had arrived by 4 pm. My classmates, friends, neighbors and relatives were invited to the birthday party.

The ceremonial cake was cut and it was followed by clapping and chanting of "Happy Birthday to You". Everyone competed to dance with me .It was quite late when the dinner was served.The festive mood , great blessings and wonderful gifts kept me in high spirits.

Hey! Diary ! I am feeling very happy to write you something interesting today!! Yesterday was the most memorable day in my life .
Well, I will tell you about it.Don't hesitate , I am telling you!!

It was a beautiful sunny morning. I woke up early in the morning and went for early morning walk. After returning home , I brushed and bathed and dressed up. And guess what ?
Not a single member of our family wished me. I thought they forgot my birthday.

I went outside to play with my friends. And it was a bolt from a blue for me. Not a single friend too, didn't wished me. I replayed my mind and yes , it was my birth day only.

Time passed and moments passed. At evening , I went home. Thanks to God that it was a holiday but on the other hand , I was unhappy too. No one had wished me.
And cheers! After I entered home , it was a block buster for me ! My happiness was overloaded with full enthusiasm. I was surprised , my friends, relatives and all were there ready with cakes , walls full of decorations !

I was feeling the happiest moment of life. I was thankful to all my dear ones. I slept after enthusiastic evening with full of celebration and Happiness.
