APPARATUS:Two potted plants,water

PRECAUTION: 1.Experiment should be conducted in the presence of sunlight.

2.Take two potted plants which are healthy.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Take two potted plants and keep them under sunlight.
  2. Mark them as A and B.
  3. Water the pot which is marked as A.
  4. Don't water the plant which is marked as B.

5.After few days note your observations.

OBSERVATION:We will observe that the potted plant marked with A will be healthy whereas the plant which is marked as B becomes inanimate i.e,lifeless

CONCLUSION:We can conclude that water is necessary for plant growth.
