a) Draw a no. line & mark the conter as zero.

b) take 1unit ( 1cm , 2cm, etc) from the centre , name as A.

c) draw line from 1 and mark point on that line till 1 unit , name as B .

d) draw a from B to A and contruct a angle of 90degree on point B .

e) extend the B till C mark it as 1unit and join the line C to O .
