show how we can use figure 1 to find the area of Figure 2 also find the perimeter of each figure

As fig 2 is made up of 2 fig 1 so by finding the area of fig 1 multiply it by 2 gives the area of fig 2  

2*area of fig 1=area of fig 2

perimeter of fig 1=5+5+5+11=26 cm

perimeter of fig 2=5+5+5+5+5+5=30 cm
