Show how you would connect three resistors. Each of resistance 6Ω so that the
combination has a resistance of (i) 9Ω (ii) 4 Ω

If we would connect in parallel then it would be 1/6+1/6+1/6= 2 ohm
If we connect in series it would be 18 ohm
If we connect 2in parallel and one in series then it would be 1/6+1/6 = 3 ohm and 3+6 ohm = 9 ohm
So for 9 ohm connect 2 in parallel and one in series...
For 4 ohm let 2be in series so 6+6= 12ohm and 6 ohm in parallel... 6X12/18 =72/18= 4 ohm..
