Most rhinoceros of India today live in Kaziranga National Park. Some other famous Indian mammal fauna are: Wild buffalo, Nilgai, Gaur and many species of deer and antelope. Some members of the dog family such as the Indian wolf, Bengal fox, golden jackal and sonkutta or wild dogs are also widely found.
