⇒ a = f/m

⇒ Velocity² = potential energy (U)² + 2 × a (f/m) × Displacement (s)

⇒ Velocity² = 0 + 2 × a × s ( AS BODY IS AT REST)

⇒ Velocity² = 2 × a × s

or Velocity² = 2 × (f/m) × s

or f × s (Kinetic Energy) =  1/2 × m × v²

∴ K.E = 1/2 × m × v²
