Given polynomial

p(x) = x³-x²+11x+69

To check whether (x+3) is a factor of the given polynomial or not

put x+3= 0
x= -3

if p(-3)= 0

Then we can say that (x+3) is a factor of the given polynomial

Now put this value of x in the given polynomial

p(-3)= (-3)³-(-3)²+11(-3)+69
p(-3)= -27-9-33+69
p(-3)= -69+69
p(-3)= 0

Thus (x+3) is a factor of the given polynomial
