SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

Show that (0, 3) is a solution of the equation y-x =3 , also find two more solutions of the equation

EVALUATION

Here the given equation is y - x = 3

Putting x = 0 , y = 3 we get

3 - 0 = 3

⇒3 = 3

Which is true

So (0, 3) is a solution of the equation y-x =3

Again the equation of the line is y - x = 3

Thus we get y = x + 3

For x = 1 we get y = 4

For x = 2 we get y = 5

So two more solutions of the equation are (1,4) & (2,5)
