Let X = 0.3
Then , X = 0.33 --------(1)
Multiply equation (1) by 10 we get,
10X = 3.33 -------(2)
Subtracting equation (1) from equation (2) we get,
10X = 3.33
X = 0.33
--------------
9X = 3
X = 3/9 = 1/3 [ P/Q form ]
Hence,
0.33 ( bar on 3 ) is of the form of 1/3 which is in the form of P/Q .
