Show that 1/ 5 x[ 2/ 7 + 3/ 8 ]=[ 1/ 5 x 2/ 7 ]+[ 1/ 5 x 3/ 8 ].

Answer:

1/5 * [2/7 +3/8] = [1/5 * 2/7] + [1/5 * 3/8]

LHS = 1/5 * 37/56

= 37/280

RHS = 2/35 + 3/40

= 27/280

Hence Proved
