1/cos theta - cos theta = 1-cos square theta /cos theta
= sin square theta / cos theta (since, 1-cos square theta = sin square theta )
= sin theta × sin theta / cos theta
= sin theta / cos theta × sin theta
= tan theta × sin theta ( since , sin theta / cos theta = tan theta )
hence proved
