let P(x)=x^4-x^3+x^2-2x+1

then P(1)=1^4-1^3+1^2-2×1+1=1-1+1-2+1=3-3=0

As P(1)=0

hence,1 is a zero of the given polynomial

let x=1

=1^3+1^2-2×1+1=0

=1+1-2+1=0

=1=0

Hence,1 is the is the Zero of the polynomial of the given sum

it may be there there is any mistake in the sum but I think you have got the idea.
