LHS = 1+sec theta/ sec theta

= 1/ sec theta +1

= cos theta +1

RHS= sin^2 theta / 1- cos theta

= 1- cos^ theta / 1- cos theta

= (1+ cos theta × 1- cos theta)/ 1- cos theta

= 1 + cos theta = LHS
