What u have done in second step of LHS.
muliplied both the numerator and the denominator by (secx + tanx)
And in rhs side how can u change the sign of tan x from -ve to+ ve.
because it is like opening the bracket. on the out side there os a nagetive sign. two-ve s make a +ve.
