We have,

LHS = (1−sin² θ) sec² θ

⇒LHS = cos² θ sec² θ [ ∵1 - sin² = cos² θ ]

⇒LHS =  {cos}^{2} \:  θ \:  ( \frac{1}{cos {}^{2} \: θ })

 [∵ \: sec \: θ =  (\frac{1}{cos \: θ} ) \: ]

⇒ LHS = 1 = RHS
