Show that (1)/(sqrt(3)) is irrational​

HELLO

Let,

take that 1/√3 is rational no.

so,

we can write this no. as 1/√2 = a/b.....

here, a nd b are 2 co- prime no.

and b is not = 0.....

multiple by √3 both side

we, get 1= (a√3)/b.....

noW,

multiply bY bb= a√3divided by a we got

ans~~ b/@ = √3

here, a nd b r integer so, b/a is rational no. so, √3 should be rational no.but....√3 is irrational no. it contradiCts HENCE, 1/√3 is irrational no.-
