*****

X² + 7X + 10 = 0

X² + 2X + 5X + 10 = 0

X (X + 2) + 5(X + 2) = 0

Hence , X = -2 And X = -5

Heya..

Answer:

p(x)= x^2 + 7x +10

p(-2) =(-2)^2 + 7(-2) + 10

= 4 -14 +10

= -10+10 = 0

p(x)= 0

Therefore, -2 is a zero of p(x).

p(-5) = (-5)^2+7(-5)+10

= 25 -35 +10

= -10+10 = 0

Therefore... -5 is also a zero of p(x).

Hence proved...
