 \huge \underline \mathfrak {Solution:-}

The numbers the said to be in proportion of the product of there extreme is equal to the product of there mean. If the product of there extreme is not equal to the product of there mean then they are not in proportion.

Here, extreme are:- 23 and 92

So, the product of extreme = 23 × 92 = 1196

And,

Mean are :- 57 and 61

So, the product of mean = 57× 61 = 3477

Since , Product of extreme ≠ Product of mean

So, they are not in proportion.

Heya!

Here is ur answer...

Given,

No.s are 23, 57, 61 and 92

Here,

EXTREMES ARE 23 and 92

MEANS ARE 57 AND 61

If the no.s are in proportion, then the product of extremes should be equal to the product of means

Now,

product of Extremes = 23 × 92 = 2116

Product of Means = 57 × 61 = 3477

Since, Product of extremes ≠ product of means

Hence, 23, 57, 61, 92 are not in proportion

Hope it helps
