P(x)= 3x^2-5x-2

P(2)= 3(2)^2-5(2)-2

= 12-10-2

= 12-12

=0

P(-1/3)= 3(-1/3)^2-5(-1/3)-2

= 3(1/9)+5/3-2

= 3/9+5/3-2

= 1/3+5/3-2

= 6/3-2

= 2-2

= 0

Therefore, 2 and -1/3 are zeroes of p(x).
