let 4-3√2 be a rational no.
then, it must follow the condition that
4-3√2 = p/q
3√2 = 4-p/q
3√2 = (4q-p)/q
√2 = (4q-p)/3q
it means that √2 is a rational no. but it is a irrational no. so it contradict. hence, 4-3√2 is an irrational no.
