hi mate here is ur answer

let us assume that √5-2√3 is a rational no.

so if it is a rational number then it can be represented in p/q form

√5-2√3= p/q

√5 = p/q+2√3

√5= p + 2√3q whole by q

here √5 is irrational whereas p+ 2√3q whole by q is rational

rational no. is not equal to the irrational so this is a contradiction to our statement and thus √5-2√3 is irrational .

hope it helps!!!
