Answer:

let 5-^3 a rational number

so it can be written in the form of p/q

where p and q are integers

5-p/q=^3

^3 is a rational number

if we divide 5-p/q by ^3 we will get a irrational number

hence our assumption is wrong , it is a contradiction

do 5-^3 is irrational

sorry but I don't know how to prove it rational
